This was true American kitsch. I wish that I had thought to take a picture of the shower. The "tepee" cottages have the slanted walls on the inside (as you might have guessed) and the shower is in a "corner". It really was fun to stay here despite the structural weirdness. The last picture is my "wake up view".

We did have a good time. We wouldn't have realized that we needed to sleep here had it not been for our guidebook... I hadn't ever used a "rough guide" before, but it was pretty great.
