Surprisingly empty for a summer Saturday.
This is the beginning of the trail. This is pretty much what it was like most of the way.
The picture of the lake reminds me of a 50s post card...like it can't exist anymore...and why did we never go here to swim?
I actually took a picture of this in black and white too for the same reason. I don't post the b &W's sometimes because they make it look too artsy, but it did look like it could have been 50 or 60 years ago.
