Sightseeing

The walk down to the well.

Mixed grass, some flowers, and a few cacti.

There were no sunflowers in bloom, so this will have to do.

I believe that this is the Oklahoma State flower telling you to go a little farther southeast to visit your Oklahoma family.

I remember you saying that, but then I thought the Oklahoma state flower was the mistletoe. Which is it?

I found the answer... you have a state "wildflower" in addition to having a state flower.

I disregard the mistletoe, because that is just ridiculous, how can you call the mistletoe a flower?...The sunflower is also a wildflower so the indian blanket or galliardia is more fitting for a state flower

every photo from this trip (except the demon bison) is remarkable and wonderful and gives me the impression of being artificially close to you while you explored the road to the well...thank you

kansas up close is always better than interstate kansas

ben- thanks. glad you could come along. everything is better off the interstate, though I do love the "Push on to Stuckys" signs.
