Final Perspectives

I felt like I would be happier with bigger feet. It was muddy here so instead of walking around the cattle guard I walked over it.

This was the last stop on my trek of the "Santa Fe Trail Companion Trail".

I love empty highways.

especially flat empty highways, where you can see for miles...I love this picture.

Great pictures. The empty highway is very cool. Next time I would like to see a picture of the landscape from the top of the windmill though, maybe with one of the blades in the foreground. Risking your life (like with the Buffaloes) just ads that extra touch to the picture.

Thank you so much for the pictures of your adventures. I feel that I wasted much of my time in Western Kansas with frivolous things and never saw all the wild it had to offer. I live vicariously through you and enjoy it immensely.

mix-- thanks, though I'm guilty too. I was always jealous of people who lived near "nature", but it dawned on me that they had to seek it out too. glad you like it.
mllr, natty-- thanks. i didn't mention the brood of rattlesnakes slithering at my ankles while i took the windmill pic.
